The chicken and rice soup and hearty vegetable soups were delicious. My husband and I highly recommend both. Both were seasoned very well. Excellent flavors. All the staff were very helpful.
George looked at me and gave me that funny butterfly feeling in my tummy, then filled me with warm breast and sauce that absolutely satisfied my tastebuds to the fullest amount of gratification. needless to say, i completely ate my entire chicken cutlet torpedo and loved every bite, amazing job george.
I was traveling in the Lowell Massachusetts area for work a couple of weeks ago and decided to stop in at George's delicatessen. I noticed that besides sandwiches they had fish and chips on the menu so I had to give it a shot. The piece of fish that was deep-fried for me was close to 12 inches long, which was awesome! The difference with these fish and chips is that the batter was very soft, but it was extremely flavorful and the whitefish was very enjoyable as well. The people there were super nice and the restaurant gave me that local feeling.
First time having George's steak n cheese sub and this is the best I've had. They filled the entire sub roll with meat and left no air pockets

Yes I absolutely recommend George's. On Friday night I had the Haddock sub, OMG , every bite melted in my mouth. The meal was very filling . Everyone behind the counter was happy to help, clean relaxing. . Until next time enjoy any of the menus you can't go wrong.

Took my dad there for lunch and had the steak and cheese, he had the roast beef sandwich. Both were 6" on a roll (and both were much larger) Outstanding sandwiches and I had a cup of their chicken and rice soup it was delicious, very hearty. The service was great and all together it was a great find!
